Mary and Bill Lavender, Just Jane
Novelist Bill Lavender and his wife, Mary Lavender, will discuss their collaborative work on Bill’s novel, Just Jane: A Daughter of England Caught in the Struggle of the American Revolution (Harcourt, 2002). Just Jane was a nominee for the American Library Association’s annual list of Best Books for Young Adults. The Lavenders are long-time Riverside residents and have long been active in UCR outreach activities, including the Friends of the Library.
