Armen Antonian and Lisa Iyer, L.A. Sensation
Armen Antonian earned his Ph.D. in Political Economy and History at the University of California, Riverside, where he also began a film series. He is a published academic author in politics and history, and has studied at the Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques in Paris. Dr. Antonian is now an acclaimed 6th grade elementary school teacher in Pasadena and continues to research and write about education in addition to coaching other teachers.
Lisa H. Iyer, Ph.D. has been involved for a decade in dog rescue and has served as Program Director for In Defense of Animals’ Guardian Campaign. Before devoting herself to animal causes, she earned a Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at U. C. Riverside; taught college courses in literature, spirituality and world cultures for fifteen years; and became a published academic author. Dr. Iyer then completed a Certificate in Non-Profit Development, and currently assists Beagles & Buddies Dog Rescue with their development strategies. She writes and lectures on animal issues and cultural topics.
