Open Access week 10/19-10/23
Open-access (OA) literature is digital, online, free of charge, and free of most copyright and licensing restrictions
OA is compatible with copyright, peer review, revenue (even profit), print, preservation, prestige, career-advancement, indexing, and other features and supportive services associated with conventional scholarly literature.
Come join the UCR Libraries we will be hosting a forum with Elise Proulx (California Digital Library) for Faculty and Graduate Students on Friday, October 23rd from 11:15 12:30 in the Science Library, Room 240.
Elise Proulx is the Outreach & Marketing Coordinator for the California Digital Library (CDL) Publishing Group. Ms Proulx will be demonstrating the launch of the redesigned eScholarship website and discussing the substantial array of digital publishing services for the University of California scholarly community and a dynamic research platform for scholars worldwide. She will be providing insights on how faculty will be able to keep their copyrights, attract more readers, publish when faculty want to publish and how to protect your works future in this age of constant change.
