Extended Library Hours for Winter Quarter
Extended Hours during Winter Finals Week!
Thanks to a cost-share partnership between the UCR Libraries and ASUCR, we again offer extended hours for the Winter Finals Week 2012.
Friday, March 16th, 7:30am through Thursday, March 22nd, midnight
- Orbach Science Library: open 24/7 (around the clock!)
- Rivera Library: open until 2:00am nightly (Sunday, March 17 open at 1:00pm)
Friday, March 23rd: 7:30am to 7:00pm
- Rivera and Orbach Libraries
Circulation and Reserves Services will be available until midnight (until 10pm on Friday & Saturday, March 16 & 17).
Please note we are not open past midnight on the last night of finals (Thursday March 22nd) because we don't have the staffing to stay open more than six days in a row. We made this decision because we received enormous student feedback that we should start 24 hour finals on Friday night instead of Saturday night.
Please help keep the Libraries clean-- don't forget to throw away your trash!
There will be a lot of people in the libraries during finals week--please follow the library guidelines for snacks and drinks in order to keep the libraries clean and pleasant for all users during this heavy-use period. The regular Campus Safety Escort Service will operate until 11pm. If you need a campus escort after 11pm, call 2-5222 and a Community Service Officer will be notified.
