Patricia Lock-Dawson on “Stewardship of the Santa Ana: Ways to Involve and Engage our Communities”
Thursday, January 12, 4-5:30pm, room 240, Orbach Science Library
UCR Friends of the Santa Ana River is fortunate to have Patricia Lock-Dawson, long time Riverside activist and consultant, who will present on the topic of: “Stewardship of the Santa Ana: Ways to Involve and Engage our Communities”. Patricia has been involved with local government and others concerning riverine corridor issues, the SAR bike path, and related community involvement issues for some time. Her concerns and interests are fundamental for all Santa Ana River conservation/restoration/recreation/community issues. If people can access and use the river more, given its beauty and uniqueness, it functions as its own advocate. Closest visitor parking: Lot 10.
