Meet the Author Series: Peter Nabokov
Peter Nabokov is a professor and acting chair of Culture and Performance at UCLA. He has just published two books, the first being A Forest of Time: American Indian Ways of History (2002). The second, American Indians and Yellowstone National Park (2002) with co-author Larry Loendorf, is the result of eight years of fieldwork and archival research. Currently he is completing work on a 20-year project, a book on American Indian sacred geographies, tentatively entitled America as Holy Land: Stories of American Indian Sacred Lands. Next year Peter will be conducting field research on hunter-gatherers in Tamil Nadu, South India.
