Thousands of art museum images online!

Enrich your eyes: three new databases are now available which offer high quality digital art images and excellent searching capabilities.

Kylix

AMICA provides 100,000+ works of art from museum collections, covering the complete range of expressive forms and time periods from cultures around the world. You will find images of an ancient Greek Douris style Kylix (drinking cup), Max Beckmann's Portrait of Perry T. Rathbone, Nathan Oliveira's monotypes, and Giuliano Finelli's Bust of a Noblewoman.

The MOAC collection contains nearly 78,000 images from 7 California museums and libraries -- Berkeley Art Museum Pacific Film Archive, Japanese American National Museum, Oakland Museum of California, Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology, Iris & B. Gerald Cantor Center for Visual Arts at Stanford University, UC Berkeley Bancroft Library, UCLA Grunwald Center for the Graphic Arts.

Saskia offers 26,000+ art historical digital images, with a special emphasis on core images required for teaching the history of Western Art.

You can either search these resources directly on the web or you can download the InsightŪ Client software for more sophisticated searching and exporting options.
