The UCR Libraries are pleased to announce that we now have access to a new online encyclopedia from InformaWorld. which covers water issues encountered in agriculture and environmental science. Topics include water quality, treatment, conservation, and irrigation methods. Best practices in water handling, preservation, and recovery are addressed, as well as current laws and regulations, irrigation management, agricultural water economics, agroforestry, erosion control, nutrient management practices, and water sanitation.
Search for information on a subject or browse the table of contents. The Encyclopedia of Water Science is available directly at the InformaWorld website.
Encyclopedias are especially useful in providing background information or an overview on a topic. Each entry also provides a list of references and suggests other related entries.
