The UCR Libraries are pleased to announce backfiles for the CAB database. Life sciences researchers will want to explore the rich trove of articles now available electronically. This archive is the equivalent of numerous paper indexes, including Review of Applied Entomology (1913+), Horticultural Abstracts (1931+), Plant Breeding Abstracts (1930+), and Field Crop Abstracts (1948+).

Depending on the subject area, researchers can find articles from the early in the 20th century, for example: 

Timberlake, P. H. Preliminary Report on the Parasites of Coccus hesperidum in California. Journal of Economic Entomology, 1913 June; 6(3): 293-303.
