New Digital Resources: Factiva: global news + business
The UCR Libraries are proud to announce the acquisition of Factiva, web-based information service that provides powerful tools for searching and monitoring global news and business information. Formerly known as Dow Jones Interactive, Factiva is a joint venture between Dow Jones and Reuters. It contains same-day and archival full-text coverage of the world’s most influential newspapers, plus academic and trade journals, magazines, wire services, and television and radio transcripts. Factiva gives you access to over 10,000 publications from 152 countries in 22 languages.
Factiva is also a premier source of company, industry, and stock information. Close to 25,000 public and private company profiles are available. For public companies, detailed reports are accessible which provide an outline of the company’s primary activities, top executives, competition, history, products, services, key financial ratios, and full balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements.
