New Digital Resources: Latin American Database
Created in 1985 to generate timely and comprehensive information on the region for scholars, businesspeople, activists, and government officials, LADB - Latin America Data Base is an important and unique source of current information and analysis on Latin America. It is particularly strong on political and human-rights issues. Statistics are another strength. LADB produces three weekly electronic publications (Sourcemex, NotiCen and NotiSur) and maintains an on-line searchable data base of over 25,000 full-text articles from issues of LADB publications as well as Latin American journals. LADB also regularly publishes writings by Latin American journalists.
UCR researchers may connect to LADB from home. For information on remote access, please visit the Connect from Home page.
