New Digital Resources: Calflora
Calflora
Calflora is a comprehensive database about California plants and their distribution. Calflora can be found in the list of Databases A-Z on the UCR Libraries homepage or by searching for Calflora in the Scotty Catalog.
Calflora is a community resource, built by collaboration among individuals and institutions. The UC Riverside Herbarium contributed over 60,000 records. Calflora provides information about California plant biodiversity for use in education, research and conservation. Included are summaries of geographic distribution of plants, habitat, and life form data. Photographs, maps, and a plant name library are also components of the database.
