The UCR Libraries’ Map Collection has acquired the Salton Sea Atlas, a comprehensive collection of maps and information about the Salton Sea. Through the use of innovative diagrams, text, photos, charts, and maps, this atlas richly illustrates the environmental, cultural and ecological processes affecting the sea and its natural environment. Take a look at some sample images! The Salton Sea Atlas can be found under the call number G1527.S15 R3 2002 in the Map Collection on the ground floor of the Science Library.
