Reference librarians are trained professionals and are here to help you with your research needs. Here's how you can take advantage of our expertise electronically:
Ask a Librarian Live
You can get library help any time from anywhere, via the Internet. A librarian can help you with your research by sharing advice and web pages. That librarian may be from another library. Your own librarians will follow up as needed.
To chat, just click the
or the 24/7 Chat icon on the left hand menu.
The chat box is available during hours that the service is staffed by UC Librarians. At other times, when you click on the chat icon you will be taken to the original Ask A Librarian page and you will have a split screen experience in which a librarian can push you pages. If you prefer this, you can always got to it on this page.
