1. Use keyword instead of subject or title search
2. Use additional synonyms with OR (e.g. burma OR myanmar)
3. Try the TRUNCATION feature.
Truncation retrieves similar words with different endings (garden, gardens, gardening).

When searching by AUTHOR, TITLE or SUBJECT, the system will automatically continue searching and will retrieve terms which begin with the requested letters.

Example: dosto
(lists words that begin with "dosto such as dostoyevsky, dostoevskaia, dostoevskii)

When searching in the WORD or LIMIT option, type an asterisk (*) to find similar words with various endings.

Example: danc*
(retrieves dance, dancers, dancing)
