Welcome to the UCR Libraries. The UCR Libraries are the premier academic research resource of the Inland Empire and are committed to serving not only our own students, faculty and staff, but also the people of the community.
Borrowing
- Students or alumni of any UC campus can borrow books from the collection
- K-12 teachers from the state of California school can borrow books from the collection
- Friends of the Library can also check out books from the collection.
- Other Non-UC UCR Affiliated visitors may have borrowing privileges
Do Research
The public is welcome to visit our facilities, and while visiting can use our electronic databases, electronic books and make copies of our print journals and books. During our regular reference hours, we are happy to assist you in your research.Sometimes it is useful to identify books and articles for your project before you come to the library. Our catalog, Scotty is available on the Web and there are a number of Web-based journal article databases that you can use.

Visitors are welcome to use the Libraries collections for research and study purposes. Materials available to visitors in-house include books, journals, online article databases, and U.S. Government publications. Some materials might be restricted for visitor use.
