E-Resources:

  • Academic Search Complete - Broad scholarly, multi-disciplinary database with many full text articles; 1984-present.
  • ArtBabble - Access to high quality videos from a variety of sources and perspectives.
  • ARTstor - Digital library of approximately one million images in the areas of art, humanities, and sciences. To download images, users must register. To register one must be on campus and then select ‘register for more features’ located in top right hand corner of ARTstor screen. Once registered, you can access ARTstor from off-campus by logging in to your account for 120 days (this does not require using the VPN). To reset the 120 day clock, log in to your ARTstor account from an on-campus computer.
  • Getty Provenance Index Databases - Access to "indexed transcriptions of material from auction catalogs and archival inventories of western European works of art, and contain nearly 1,000,000 records that cover the period from the late 16th century to the early 20th century."
  • Grove Dictionary of Art - Comprehensive online reference resource for all aspects of the visual arts worldwide from prehistory to the 1990s.
  • UbuWeb - "All Avant-Garde All the Time" Online access to moving image collections. All materials on UbuWeb are made available for noncommercial and educational use only.
