  • Use ADVANCED SEARCH
  • Be specific.
  • Use quotation marks to search for a phrase.
  • Scroll down to "SELECT DISCIPLINES OR JOURNALS"

       Finding What you Need

  • The gold UC-eLinks button  will guide you to the location of your item  whether it is online, in the UCR Libraries or elsewhere.  For those not available locally, you can easily request an Interlibrary loan from another library.  When accessing articles off-campus, you must be logged into the VPN.  

Step 4: Finishing Touches (Reference Lists)

  • Support your arguments, acknowledge the work of other authors, let you avoid plagiarism, allow other researchers to easily "retrace your steps."  See the Cite Your Sources page for links to the formats
