There are more that 600 carrels throughout the Science Library. A few, at least 4 per floor hold computers which can access the library's catalogs and indexes as well as the Web. All of them contain electrical outlets for laptop computers and 10 of them are have live ethernet ports for use with patrons' laptop computers. All of the carrels in the library are wired to eventually have live ethernet ports when demand increases. For more information ask at the Reference Desk.
