HelpUCR's Interlibrary Loan Department is comprised of two service units in the Rivera and Orbach Science Libraries that provide access to the collections of the UCR Libraries through the loan of original materials and the provision of photocopies. Loans and copies are provided to other libraries according the national and international interlibrary codes.
Submitting RequestOCLC is the preferred method for sending requests. If you do not have access to OCLC, complete an ALA form and submit the form via email, ARIEL, FAX, mail to the UCR Rivera Library for all branches except Orbach Science Library. If you are uncertain which branch library owns the item, please check SCOTTY, UCR's online catalog. Loan FeesNo Charge UC Libraries and California Libraries. Invoice to follow if not OCLC IFM; U.S. loans sent via mail; International loans sent via Air Mail; Corporate loans sent via FedEx using borrower's account number. Copy Fees/Microform-to-PaperNo Charge UC Libraries. 0.25 per exposure after the first 20; Ariel default delivery method; Corporate delivery and handling charges are $1.25 per page for fax or FedEx using borrower's account number.
