The Bridge in the Jungle, 1971 Film

Pancho Kohner, who wrote, directed and produced the 1971 film of The Bridge in the Jungle, visited UC Riverside Libraries on March 2, 2006 to talk about his film. Illustrating his presentation with numerous film clips, Kohner entertained with his personal experiences with adapting the Traven novel for the screen, the logistics of filming on location in Mexico with local actors and extras, working with John Huston, and meeting B. Traven.
