Horticulturists came to hear the latest on pest control, on growing, harvesting and marketing their crops
and to try out the latest equipment at the gatherings. Note the Box Springs Mountains in the background.
The future site of the Citrus Experiment Station had been selected and construction would have begun by 1916.
