The Multimedia Library houses the University Library's collection of media. The collection includes different formats of media including video tapes (Beta, VHS, U-matic), DVDs, laserdiscs, CD-ROMs, CDs, audio cassettes, and 16mm motion pictures.
Materials may be checked out only by UCR faculty and teaching assistants for classroom use on campus. Students may use materials in the Multimedia Library, but can not check materials out. Equipment is available in the Multimedia Library for the use of most formats. Availability is on a first come, first served basis. Four viewing rooms are also available for small groups to use for watching videos. |
