Description

African Americans in the Sciences ExhibitThe African-Americans in the Sciences exhibit came about when Dr. Michael F. Rettig, Professor of Chemistry initiated putting together a display for Dr. Percy Lavon Julian, one of the greatest African American scientists. With the help of Maya Henderson of African-Americans United in Science (AAUS), the Science Library was more than happy to help make it possible.

In highlighting a few of the many African American scientists and inventors we strive to provide recognition and awarness.
