Processing CD-ROMs
1. Before processing, make sure all copies of the CD-ROM and accompanying texts have been pulled from the stacks or recalled.
2. Affix colored tape around the top left side of the jewel case.
3. Process the CD in Millennium as you would a normal book. Instead of setting the location code to sresm or rres, use the location codes rrcd or srcd, or srdvd or rrdvd for CD-ROMs and DVDs.
4. CDs should be listed below their accompanying textbook when added to the course record in Millennium. (See Processing Library-Owned Books for detailed guidelines on placing items in order within a course record.)
5. Indicate in the Reserves Database that the CD-Rom or DVD was processed. Please see Step 3 in Processing Library-Owned Books for detailed instructions.
6. Shelve the CD in call number order in the Reserve CD collection boxes, with the Reserve tape facing outwards.
