Welcome to the UCR Libraries!
Hello! welcome to the UCR Libraries. Whether you are a student, a staff or faculty member, or a member of the community we are happy to help you with your research and have many services that might interest you.
On the UCR campus we have 4 physical libraries. The Tomas Rivera Library houses our general collections for humanities, social sciences and business as well as our Special Collections. The Raymond L. Orbach Science Library has a wonderful collection of books and journals in the sciences as well as engineering and medicine. Our Media Library houses ur A/V materials primarily and our Music Library contains scores, a listening collection and some current journals and reference books pertaining to music.
Whatever library you choose to visit, we have an outstanding staff of librarians and library assistants who are happy to help you use our facilities.
We also have a world-class collection of online materials which are available to our students, faculty and staff either on campus or off campus via one of UCR's remote access services. These materials, including over 6000 electronic journals, are also available to community members who visit the Libraries.
