Where are the Library Locations (LOC)?

Calif. Museum of Photography Downtown Riverside These are the photographs, books and other materials held by the California Museum of Photography in their Library.  These materials are for Library use only.
CBSR INTN M1006 Center for Bibliographical Studies & Research - No lending materials.  Use Interlibrary Loans.
Current Periodicals (Rivera) Rivera Library, 1st Floor The latest year or so of unbound Rivera journal issues. These typically can be checked-out for 3 days.
Current Periodicals (Science) Science Library, 1st Floor The latest year or so of unbound Science journal issues. These typically can be checked-out for 3 days.
EducServ Juv Rivera Library, 2nd Floor Books for children; picture books and chapter books. 
EducServ Juv Big Book Rivera Library, 2nd Floor Really big Juv trade books meant to be shared with a group of children (shelved at the end of Juv stacks).
EducServ Tiny Juv Rivera Library, 2nd Floor Extra small Juv books (shelved at the beginning of Juv stacks).
EducServ Oversize Juv Rivera Library, 2nd Floor Juv books that are too big to fit on regular shelves.
EducServ Secured Rivera Library, 2nd Floor These materials are locked and available when the Education Services Desk is open.  Includes Secured AV, Textbook, Prints and Posters.
EducServ Textbook Rivera Library, 2nd Floor Adopted K-8 California Public School Textbooks.
EducServ Textbook Big Books Rivera Library, 2nd Floor Very large textbooks designed to be read together as a class.
GovPub Atlas Rivera Library, 1st Floor Many of the Gov Pubs atlases were moved to the Map Collection in the Orbach Science Library.  Those that remained in Gov Pubs are shelved with oversized government documents near the Congressional Record.
GovPub CA Rivera Library, 1st Floor California state documents.
GovPub Comp.Rm. Rivera Library, 1st Floor CDs and DVDs are shelved in cabinets outside the Gov Pubs Department Office. Ask at the reference desk about using them.
GovPub Foreign Rivera Library, 1st Floor Foreign country documents.
GovPub Int'l Rivera Library, 1st Floor International agency documents (excluding UN).
GovPub Law Rivera Library, 1st Floor Law collection.

GovPub Oversize Rivera Library, 1st Floor These documents too large for regular shelves, they are in the first aisle near the Congressional Record.
GovPub Pamphlet Rivera Library, 1st Floor Documents too small for regular shelves. They are in boxes on shevles on the wall near the U.S. Documents.
GovPub Pub.List Rivera Library, 1st Floor Publications lists. Filed near the Gov Pubs Law section.
GovPub Ref Rivera Library, 1st Floor Government reference collection. At the back of the General Reference Collection.

Map Alcove Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) This alcove is located between the first and second areas of the Map Collection.  It is the beginning of the circulating collection.
Map Atlases Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) On the rolling atlas shelves, in the large room past the service desk.
Map Cases Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) Large, flat maps.  In the very large map filing cases. 
Map Collection Science Library Ground Floor (G58) These are circulating items shelved in the far Maps Stacks area within the Maps collection. 
Map Digital Room Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) CD-Roms in the cabinet.  Electronic Maps.
Map Folded Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) These are road maps, city maps and U.S.G.S folded maps.  They are located in the far back part of the 2nd Map collection area.
Map Local Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) These materials are of strong local interest.  Please ask for assistance to access these materials.
Map M'fiche Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) These materials are located in the file cabinets in the microform alcove.  They are in microformat and may be viewed, saved or printed with the machine in the area.
Map Ref Map Collection. Science Library Ground Floor (G58) These reference books do not circulate and are located in the map collection across from the desk.
Media DVD Multimedia Library. INTS
Room 2117
Please ask for items you need at the desk.  These items can be viewed in the Library or checked out by students, faculty and staff.
Media Video Disc Multimedia Library. INTS Room 2117 Laser discs.  Ask at the counter for the item you need.  These can be played in the library.
Media Video Tape Multimedia Library. INTS Room 2117 VHS.  Please ask for items you need at the desk.  They can be checked out or viewed in the library.
Music Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 Items with this location are primarily scores, and are located in the scores area of the library.  Most scores can be checked out.
Music CD Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 CDs are located in the CD area and are arranged in numerical order. They can be listened to in the Library.  Ask for headphones at the desk.
Music CD Oversize Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 These CDs are too large to be filed with the other CDs, so they are located near the other CDs. They can be listened to in the Library.  Ask for headphones at the desk.
Music DVD Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 Audiovisual recordings of musical performances, mostly opera.  These items can be viewed on the computers in the Library.  Ask for headphones at the desk.
Music Flat Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 These items are scores that are too large to stand up on a shelf and are laid flat.
Music Oversize  Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 These scores are too large to be filed with the other scores, and are located between the normal size scores and the study scores.
Music Record Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 12" vinyl recordings that can be played in the library. Ask for headphones at the desk.  They are located along the wall behind the scores.
Music Study Score Music Library, Arts Building Room 054 These scores are not typically used for performance, but for studying a piece of music, often while listening to it.  They are smaller, and shelved in their own section near the other scores.

Rivera Leisure Reading Rivera Library, 1st Floor Found near the entrance to the Rivera Library, the Allen Leisure Reading Collection provides some popular materials.
Rivera M'fiche Rivera Library Basement These materials are in an archival format and require a reader.  They are located in cabinets near the readers.
Rivera M'form Rivera Library Basement These materials are in an archival format and require a reader.  They are located in cabinets near the Microform Help Desk.
Rivera Oversize Rivera Library Basement  These materials are too large to file on standard library shelves.  They are located behind the C call numbers in the Rivera Library Basement.
Rivera Reference Rivera Library, 1st floor, behind Reference Desk These materials contain facts, figures, definitions, formulae, etc.... They typically don't circulate, but can be copied on nearby copiers.
Rivera Reserves Rivera Library, 1st floor near entrance at the Circulation/Reserves Desk. These materials have been placed on reserves by faculty request.  They typically circulate for 2 hours.  Bring the call number and a UCR ID Card to the desk to check them out.
Rivera Secured Rivera Library Basement These materials are available for checkout and are found in the Rivera basement for the time being.

Science Circ. Science Library, 1st floor near entrance. These items have been secured behind the Science Library Circulation desk.  Please ask for assistance at the desk.
Science M'fiche/M'form Science Library, 1st Floor room 144 These are found in the Microform room, located in room 144, along the wall near the Reference Collection and current periodicals.  They are contained in file cabinets and can be viewed or printed using the equipment in the room.  Ask for assistance if you have any difficulties.  There is a more technologically advanced reader in the Map Collection that can read and save.
Science Oversize Science Library
A-QK: 2nd Floor
QL-Z: 3rd Floor
These materials are too large to file on standard library shelves and are shelved in a special section on either the 2nd or third floor, according to call number.
Science Reference Science Library, 1st Floor behind Current Periodicals. These materials contain facts, figures, definitions, formulae, etc... They typically don't circulate, but can be copied on nearby copiers.
Science Reserves Science Library, 1st Floor near entrance at the Circulation/Reserves Desk These materials have been placed on reserves by faculty request.  They typically circulate for 2 hours.  Bring the call number and a UCR ID Card to the desk to check them out.
SpCol Rivera Library, 4th Floor Special Collections
SpCol Eaton Rivera Library, 4th Floor Eaton Collection material may be studied in the Special Collections Reading Room.
SRLF Southern Regional Library Facility, located at UCLA UC faculty, staff and students may request retrieval of materials through Interlibrary Loans/Services.
Unbd: Math Dept. Math Department, Math Reading Room, Surge Building Most recent issues kept in UCR Math Dept.
WRCA NRLF NRLF UC faculty, staff and students may request retrieval of materials through Interlibrary Loans/Services.
WRCA UCR Science Library, 1st Floor These materials are part of the Water Resources Collections and Archives.  Circulating materials can be found behind the Water Resources Collections and Archives sign on the first floor of the Science Library.  Call numbers that begin with letters come before call numbers that begin with numbers.  Any numbers after letters or decimals are decimal numbers.  The circulating collection includes materials from 1970-.  Older materials can be paged. Ask for assistance at the Reference Desk.
SpCol WRCA Available by paging. More Information. These materials are part of the Special Collections and University Archives, which include the WRCA manuscripts and scarce published materials. These materials do not circulate, but they may be studied in Special Collections and University Archives, Rivera Library, 4th floor.
WRCA UCR Ref Science Library, 1st Floor At the front of the WRCA collections, across from the entrance to the Science Library, these non-circulating materials contain facts and figures regarding water.  They can be copied on nearby copiers.
