The Western Region Tuskegee Airmen Archive
Contributing to the Western Region Tuskegee Airmen Archive

There are many ways to support development of the Western Region Tuskegee Archive at UC Riverside. Your gifts are critical to our important work of collecting and preserving the history of this unique and distinguised group of African Americans.

Donors of materials about and by the Airmen are among our valued supporters. If you are a Tuskegee Airman or Airwoman, or a family member of an Airman, the Archive needs your help to strengthen the collection. Gifts of the following materials are needed so that the story of the Airmen can be preserved and told to coming generations:
  • personal papers and letters
  • photographs and posters
  • military records
  • awards and honors
  • documentation of careers
  • diaries
  • books by and about the Airmen
  • oral histories
  • newspaper clippings
  • films and tapes
  • records of regional and local chapters
  • selected memorabilia
  • other historic resources

Your monetary generosity allows us to maintain and expand the Archive. To make a gift in support of the Archive, please contact Chuck Wilson, University Archivist, at 951-827-6384 or chuck.wilson@ucr.edu or Dr. Ruth M. Jackson, University Librarian, at 951-827-3221 or ruth.jackson@ucr.edu. Gifts of cash, securities, real estate and personal property are welcomed.
