DEVELOPING A RESEARCH PLAN
Before wandering aimlessly around the library, surfing the web, or camping out at a computer to do research, take a few minutes to think about what you really need to do. If you develop an organized plan or strategy ahead of time, it will save you lots of time in the long run.
Here's a useful library research strategy:
STEP 1 - Choose a topic STEP 2 - Make a list of search terms STEP 3 - Identify what kinds of materials you need STEP 4 - Select search/finding tools Then you'll be ready to begin searching for information and evaluating what you find!
