David's key responsibilities are developing the Borderlands distinctive collection in support of the Greater Mexico & U. S. Latinx Perspectives cluster hire faculty and others with interest in the Mexican/Mexican American experience in the six northern Mexican states and the four U. S. states along the common border.  He is also promoting the UCR Library by participating in the Inland Empire Memories initiative, networking with local history colleagues inside and outside of the UCR Library, as well as collecting material on Riverside and San Bernardino Counties.  He holds an M. L. S. from the University of Maryland, College Park.  He holds a ML.S. from the University of Maryland, College Park.  David joined the library in 2001.
