The UCR Library collects resources and provides access to data for business and all related disciplines such as economics and management. We offer subject-specific and general research educational services at the library and provide access to information from the UC Libraries System and beyond.

Conducting Research

Books & Articles

Books are useful for getting a broad introduction or background information for areas in business. Search by topic keywords in the Scotty (UCR) catalog or the Melvyl (UC) catalog.

Scholarly articles are carefully evaluated (peer-reviewed) by subject experts to provide reliable and credible information. Locate business articles by searching the business databases. The most popular databases are listed in the right column of this page.

Journals

Many business journals are found electronically and can be browsed in the UC Journal finder. Use the Scotty (UCR) catalog, with material type set to "periodical", to find journals that are available in the library.

Specialized Resources

Directories
Directories such as the International Directory of Company Histories are useful for getting information on companies and individuals.

Dissertations
Databases such as Proquest Digital Dissertations are useful for finding dissertations and theses related to business.
