LSA needs your help!
Normally, the raffle takes months of planning and preparation. A single person, or even a couple of people can’t manage getting all those raffle prizes and with time so short, the executive board for LSA is asking each of you to consider one of the following ways to help:
- If you are a crafter, creator, or have a desire to put together a raffle basket or prize to donate, we would be very appreciative!
- If you go to a favorite restaurant, or have a fun and wonderful place to shop, would you consider bringing a copy of our donation letter with you, and ask for a donation from the place the next time you go? It may not work out, times are tough out there, but if you are known to the proprietors, you stand a good chance of getting a donation!
- If you can afford it, buy a raffle prize, there are many amazing opportunities out there and you would be helping out LSA (and our charity, Alternatives to Domestic Violence)
Remember, the raffle represents a firm and proven way to raise money for LSA, so that staff development awards can be given out, so that welcome teas, or free breakfasts, or international food day, or the chili cook-off, or dozens of events can take place. The coffers are pretty bare right now and we need help. Are you willing?
