Alliance to Save Energy : Creating an Energy-Efficient World
The Alliance to Save Energy is a coalition of business, government, environmental and consumer leaders; it promotes energy efficiency worldwide and addresses a broad spectrum of energy related issues.
American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy
This non-profit organization provides information to individuals, businesses, government and industry to encourage energy-efficient technologies and practices; it sponsors a conference to facilitate the exchange of information among those interested in energy conservation and efficiency.
American Council on Renewable Energy : ACORE
Accelerates the adoption of renewable energy technologies into mainstream American society. Promotes renewable energy solutions to the american public through outreach and education.
American Exploration and Production Council : AXPC
Trade association that represents U.S. independent natural gas and crude oil exploration and production companies.
American Hydrogen Association : AHA
Promotes energy alternatives, conducts research, compiles statistics and maintains a speakers bureau.
American Solar Energy Society : ASES
Conducts workshops, organizes forums, and encourages basic and applied research. Promotes education by compiling and dissimenating information to schools, universities and community.
American Wind Energy Association : AWEA
Information for and about equipment manufacturers, project developers, dealers, individuals and individuals from government , industry and academia. Provides federal and state legislators with information on wind as an energy source and acts as a consultant to these agencies.
Americans for Balanced Energy Choices : ABEC
Promotes dialog with community leaders involving issues on electricity. Searchable database.
Association for the Study of peak Oil and Gas -USA
Promotes international coperation in the development, production, and consumption of the earth's energy sources.
Association of Energy Engineers : AEE
Promotes the advancement of the profession and contributes to professional development. Provides a scholarship. Conferences, newsletter, and journal.
Association of Energy Engineers, California/Bay Area
The mission of AEE is " to promote the scientific and educational interests of those engaged in the energy industry and to foster action for Sustainable Development." AEE members join colleagues from around the world to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, policy directions and marketplace trends.
The Association of Energy Services Professionals International Home Page
AESP is a member-based association dedicated to improving the delivery and implementation of energy efficiency, energy management and distributed renewable resources.
California Planning and Conservation League : PCL
The Planning and Conservation League (PCL) is a non-profit 501 (c) (4) lobbying organization working to enact and implement policies which protect and restore the California environment. The PCL views global warming as one of the most critical issues facing California and, as such, promotes the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
California State Association of Counties
The CSAC's primary mission is to represent county government before the California Legislature and other governmental bodies. Useful links to energy-related topics and organizations are provided in the resources section of its website.
Electricity Storage Association : ESA
A trade association established to foster development and commercialization of energy storage technologies.
Energy Communities Alliance
Dedicated to meeting the broad ranging needs of energy communitiies. Develops customized research on specific topics facing energy communities.
Geothermal Energy Association
A trade association composed of companies that support the expanded use of geothermal energy and the development of geothermal resources wworldwide for electrical power generation and direct heat uses.
Geothermal Resources Council
The GRC is a tax-exempt, non-profit educational association. A primary professional education group for the international geothermal community.
Green Empowerment
Promotes community based renewable energy, potable water delivery, watershed mapping and restoration.
Independent Energy Producers Association : IEPA
California's oldest and leading trade association representing theinterests ofdevelopers and oerators of both the independent facilities and the independednt power marketers.
Institute of Public Utilities
The Institute supports informed, effective and efficient regulation of the industries providing essential utility services.They provide the regulatory policy community integrative, interdisciplinary and balanced educational programs and applied research on the institutions, theory and practice of modern economic regulation.
International Association for Energy Economics : IAEE
Provides an interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas, experiences and issues among professionals.
