"The Energy Citations Database (ECD) contains over 2.3 million bibliographic citations for energy and energy related STI from the Department of Energy (DOE) and its predecessor agencies, the Energy Research & Development Administration (ERDA) and the Atomic Energy Commission (AEC). The Database provides access to over 259,000 electronic documents, primarily from 1943 forward, with continued growth through regular updates." Citations are to report literature, conference papers, journal articles, books, dissertations, and patents.

IAEA Department of Nuclear Energy : Planning and Economic Studies

Through training, technical assistance and information exchange, PESS helps Member States build capacity for analysing different energy options. PESS conducts 3-E (energy, economic and environmental) analysis of nuclear technologies and their competitors, focusing on competitive energy markets, environmental impacts and sustainable energy development. PESS maintains information references of energy and economic data, plus nuclear power projections through 2030.

International Nuclear Safety Center (INSC) Database

The International Nuclear Safety Center (INSC) database, sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), is a comprehensive resource database for safety analysis and risk evaluation of nuclear power plants and facilities. Alhough the scope of the database is world-wide, the current focus is on Soviet-designed nuclear power plants in Russia and Eastern Europe, and on reactor types in China and India.

National Nuclear Security Administration

Home page of the NNSA covers energy, defense programs, emergency operations, nuclear security,and environment. The place to go for news and information. Also has information for students and facts and information to help with homework.

National Renewable Energy Laboratory

The site features updates and publications about research and development programs in areas such as solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, and hydrogen and fuel cells. Also includes materials about applying technologies in building, transportation, and infrastructure. NREL is "the nation's primary laboratory for renewable energy and energy efficiency R&D."

Nuclear Energy Learning Resources for Home and School

This site is supported by the Argonne National Laboratoryand provides information on all aspects of nuclear energy. Materials are provided for students at all levels as well as classroom materials for teachers.

The Nuclear Files

Nuclear Power Plant Simulators for Education

This agency sponsors the development of nuclear reactor simulators for education which operate on personal computers and which simulate responses of a number of reactor types to various conditions. The simulators are designed to provide insight and understanding of the general design and operational characteristics of various power reactor systems.

U. S. Nuclear Waste Technical Review Board

The NWTRB ia an independent agency of the U. S. Federal Government. It's sole purpose is to provide scientific and technical oversight of the Department od Energy's program for managing and disposing of high level radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel.

U.S. Energy Information Administration

A primary source for energy statistics. Provides data and analyses about the supply, consumption, distribution, and price of energy in the United States. The weekly, monthly, and annual reports cover petroleum, natural gas, coal, electricity, and various forms of renewable energy. Also contains historical data, forecasts (both U.S. and international), and country-specific analyses

United Nations Economic Commission for Europe

The United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE) is the forum at which the countries of North America, western, central and eastern Europe and central Asia come together to forge the tools of their economic cooperation. The ECE's role is threefold: policy analysis; development of conventions, regulations or standards; and assistance. Yucca Mountain Project
