The pictures below are from a set of 95 candid 8 x 10 photographs in UCR Libraries' Special Collections, taken during the filming of "The Bridge in the Jungle" on location in Chiapas, Mexico. John Huston starred as Sleigh. The charming child actor Gilberto Ramos Atayde played the role of Carlos, the boy who drowned.
