UCR treats "Dungeons & dragons" and variations such as "Dungeons & dragons online", "Dungeons & dragons novels", etc., as 246 fields. (see Authority Record)  

See the following examples.

Example 1:

This would appear in the bib record as:

246 1 |iAt head of title on cover:|aDungeons & dragons novels
246 1 |iAt head of title page.:|aDungeons & dragons books

Example 2:

This would appear in the bib record as:

246 1 |iAt head of title:|aDungeons & dragons

Example 3:

This is for those instances where "A Dungeons & dragons novel" (or similar variation) appears only on the lower back cover of the book.

This would appear in the bib record as:

246 1 |iOn p. [4] of cover:|aDungeons & dragons novel
