NOTE: Do not quote spine titles such as "Tor fantasy", "Tor science fiction", etc. UCR's practice is to ignore this.

Example 1: Tom Doherty Associates would be listed in the 260 as it appears after "published by" on the t.p. verso. Quote "A Tor book" as it appears on the t.p. verso. Give the source of the quoted note if not taken from the title page.

 

Example 2: Tom Doherty Associates would be listed in the 260 as it appears after "published by" on the t.p. verso. Quote "A Tor book" as it appears on the t.p. verso and "A Tor hardcover" as it appears on page 3 of the jacket. Give the source of the quoted note if not taken from the title page.
