• Find Course Reserves
  Course reserves are materials professors have requested to be placed on Reserve Services Desk in the library. Faculty might also place materials on iLearn (Blackboard)
• Find Electronic Journals & E-Books
  UCR has access to thousands (5000+!) of journals online, as well as many e-books.
• Find Websites
  Use INFOMINE, Google, or Yahoo search engines to find useful internet resources.
• Find Dissertations
  Dissertations are valuable research tools. In many cases, the most detailed work done on a specific topic is to be found in a doctoral dissertation.
• Find Popular Magazines and Newspapers
  Look for current periodicals in the Rivera Library (Basement Floor).

• Find Government Publications
  These are works issued by United States federal, state, and municipal governments, foreign governments, and international governmental organizations.
• Find Media (DVDs, VHS, Audio Tapes, etc.)
  Materials in media formats are housed in the Multimedia Library.
• Find Major Microform Sets
  Microfilm, microfiche, or micro-opaques used for the storage of documents that have been photographed and reduced in size in order to conserve space or to preserve materials that deteriorate rapidly.
• Find Special Collections
  For archival materials, rare books, manuscripts, photographs, videotapes, broadsides, and other media covering a wide range of special subject areas.
