The UCR Libraries are the premier academic research resource of the Inland Empire and are committed to serving our alumni.
Borrowing
UCR Alumni may use a UCR Card or obtain a UCR Library Card from the Rivera or Science Library Circulation Desk for library services. To establish library privileges, please bring your UCR Alumni Association membership card and confirmation of your address (i.e. driver's licence). Library privileges are valid for the duration of your annual membership or yearly for lifetime members.- Alumni association members of any UC campus can borrow books from the collection
- Alumni Association members of UCR may borrow books from any University of California Campus
- The loan period for Alumni book checkout is 4 weeks.
Do Research
Alumni are welcome to visit our facilities, and while visiting can use our electronic databases, electronic books and make copies of our print journals and books. During our regular reference hours, we are happy to assist you in your research.
If you would like to do research from home, we have created a guide for doing research using free, online sources.
Collections
Alumni are welcome to use the Libraries collections for research and study purposes. Materials available while in the library include books, journals, article databases, and U.S. Government publications. Some materials might be restricted to current students, faculty and staff.
