"Collaboration with Dance Historian, Angene Feves"

The purpose of this project is for in-person collaboration with the independent dance historian, Angene Feves, who resides in Oakland, California. Ms. Feves is a practicing dance researcher: she reconstructs Renaissance and Baroque materials, usually for theatrical productions. The in-person sessions with Ms. Feves will allow us to complete a manuscript in progress. The result will be a short book including the introduction and appendices to "Instruction pour Danser les Dances" ("Instruction for Dancing the Dances") which is an early 17th century French manuscript recently discovered in Germany.
