Where in the World: A Musical Travelogue

Where in the World: A Musical Travelogue

The Great Gate at Kiev
This
exhibit spotlights materials available from the Map Collection and the Music and Multimedia Libraries. It is a fun view of places that have inspired musical works -- from familiar locations, such as Oklahoma, New York, Rome, and London, to the exotic Antarctica and Sheba.

We hope that this exhibit sparks your interest in the connections between geography and music, and we invite you to listen to these pieces and pull out your atlases.
