Reference Services (Ask a Librarian)
Reference Librarians are trained professionals who help library users with their information and research needs. That's why we are here!
We can:
- Help you locate information and resources,
- Guide you through the research process,
- Teach you how to use the various online periodical databases, catalogs, and the web.
You can get in touch with us a number of ways. There are Reference Desks at both the Rivera and Science Libraries where a Reference Librarian is on duty most times during the day. The Reference Desk is open 9 am to 8 pm most days--service hours vary by library, and the exact listing of Reference desk hours is here.

Make an appointment with a reference librarian for in-depth, personalized research assistance! Appointments are generally scheduled Monday - Friday, 9 - 5. To make an appointment, stop by the Reference Desks, give us a call, or contact us via email. Or simply use the Reference By Appointment Form:
