Martha Hruska In both positions, she has been responsible for acquisitions, cataloging, and the preservation of collections. At the University of Florida she was also responsible for web and digital initiatives. At UCSD she is responsible for scholarly communications and for the development and life-cycle management of collections, both digital and the more traditionally formatted collections. Martha represents UC San Diego on UC system- wide committees responsible for collection development, technical services, and scholarly communication. Over the last year, she has been managing and coordinating UC San Diego’s Google scanning project. Her B.A. degree is in Philosophy and Literature from Douglass College and she holds an MLS degree from Rutgers University.
