Description of San Francisco water-related materials:
The Giannini Foundation of Agricultural Economics Library collection includes state and federal government documents, ephemeral and institutional publications on the San Francisco Water Supply. The library has an extensive collection of materials relating water in agriculture.

Access Procedures:
The collection is non-circulating and must be used on site. Some materials are in open stacks, but many items are in closed files that require assistance to access. A photocopy/scanner that accepts cash only is available.
Reference assistance is available during open hours. We recommend calling ahead to be certain of assistance.
While some reference materials and bound high-use journals are on open shelves in the Reading Room, the bulk of the collection is in closed stacks and must be paged. To have material paged, fill out call slips and take them to the Information Desk. Paging, which is normally very prompt, is available 11 am - 5 pm.
