Water Resource Collections and Archives

Reference Services

The WRCA welcomes reference questions regarding our materials. Reference questions for WRCA special collections (e.g. manuscript materials) can be emailed to the Water Resources Librarian.

Reference assistance for WRCA circulating materials may be accessed at the Orbach Science Library Reference Desk

Circulation Policies

WRCA's circulating collection is available for checkout by UCR faculty, staff and students.  Members of the community seeking to checkout circulating materials may join the Friends of the UCR Library and receive a library card.  The cost of membership is $45. Loan rules for circulating materials  vary depending on the type of material.  The circulating collection is in the open stacks on the Main Floor of the Orbach Science Library, near the Reference Desk.

WRCA has a large amount of material that does not circulate because it is archival or was published prior to 1970.  These materials must be paged by WRCA staff and viewed onsite. Please contact the Water Resources librarian for assistance.

Interlibrary Loan, Document Delivery and the Water Districts List
