Planning Your Visit

Planning Your Visit

Researchers will need to register in our new Special Collections Request System and are advised to request materials in advance in order to avoid delays when coming to campus. We appreciate at least 24 hours notice of your visit.

Materials may be used in the Special Collections & University Archives reading room, located in Rivera Library, 4th floor, Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm. A valid photo identification is required.

Schedule an Appointment

Please create a Special Collections Request System account by clicking here and following the instructions provided. Please include the call numbers of the materials you would like us to pull prior to your visit. If you do not know the call numbers you may first search Scotty our online catalog for published material or the Online Archive of California for our manuscript collections.

For circulating materials from the collection, please see the Orbach Science Library hours to plan your visit for use of those materials. Items that circulate may accessed at your leisure during library hours and are subject to general library policies for lending.

If you have questions or need special arrangements you may contact Jessica Davila Greene at (951) 827-2802 or by email at waterarc@ucr.edu .
