Date: Jul 26, 2018
Time: 10:00am - 12:00pm
Location: Tomás Rivera Library, 140

This is a step-by-step, practical workshop on preparing your research data and code for computationally reproducible publication. You will also see an innovative system for sharing them with the research community.

Workshop goals:

  • Learn best practices for file organization, documentation, automation, and dissemination.
  • Assess possible tools for publishing data and code.
  • See the very cool research shared on Code Ocean; watch the code run!
  • If you would like, upload your own data and code.

Participants should bring their own laptops and well as their research data and code (if possible). We also have a limited number of laptops available to lend.
