We offer subject-specific and general research educational services at the library and also provide access to information from the UC Libraries System and beyond.
Books & Articles
Scholarly or peer-reviewed articles are a source of reliable and credible information. Locate articles by searching in the biology databases. The most popular databases are listed on this page.
Protocols are available in print, as e-books, and video format. Search the Scotty (UCR) catalog or check Current Protocols , Springer Protocols, and the Journal of Visualized Experiments (JoVE).
Patent literature is important to many biology research topics. Patent searching is available through SciFinder Scholar, Google Patents, the United States Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO), and international patent offices.
