The Orbach second floor central open study areas contain large and small tables and semi-enclosed carrels. This area is reserved for quiet study. Some seating is in open areas near large windows with natural light, some seating is closer to the book stacks with more privacy. White and red "egg" chairs for individual quiet study are located on the west side of the building.
