We  hold a depth of materials documenting Mexico, Central America, Argentina, Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay, and Brazil.

The Paraguay collection is comprehensive, and includes the papers of Juan Silvano Godoi, (1850-1926), politician, journalist, jurist and historian; Nicolás Díaz Pérez (1841-1889), Spanish politician and author, and his son Viriato Díaz Pérez (1875-1958), prominent Paraguayan educator; and the Guillermo Weyer collection on Agencia Notiosa Paraguaya.

Other notable collections include photographs by Sabino Osuna and Luis Ramirez Pimental of the Mexican Revolution; and the Ronald H. Chilcote Collection on Latin America.
